A spec comparison site for home espresso gear, built to answer "what's actually different between these two" without pretending to be something it isn't.
Brew the Bean compares espresso machines and grinders by spec: heating systems, burr types, retention, portafilter sizes, and the other details that actually separate one product from another. It's built around comparisons and buying guides, not ranked "best of" lists dressed up as personal reviews.
Every spec on this site comes from manufacturer listings, retailer documentation, and public sources, checked at the time of writing. When sources agree, we state the fact plainly. When they don't, and it happens more often than you'd expect, we say so directly rather than picking whichever number sounds most confident. A few pages include notes explaining exactly where sources conflicted and why we went with the figure we did.
We don't claim independent hands-on testing. There's no "we tested this for six weeks" narrative anywhere on this site, because it wouldn't be true. We also don't display specific prices next to Amazon links, since a number on this page would inevitably go stale against the real, current price. Where you see "Check Price," that's genuinely the fastest way to see accurate, current pricing.
